We really like this dynamic Sales Engineer with a foundation in polymer engineering and focused, value-based selling.  Accountable for an aerospace composite material portfolio on both a regional and national level, this engineer has a strong history of sales planning and execution.   Currently located in the Southeast US and accustomed to working from a home office with travel, he has a history of year over year sales growth with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world.

A solid blend of hunting new business, managing the accounts of current business and driving profit margin up for a custom engineered solution are just a few of the reasons this sales engineer would make an excellent addition to composite material company.

Advanced Composites ProfessionalSr. Materials and Process Engineer

This Sr. M/P Engineer has hands-on experience with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering with top-tier composite aerospace manufacturers.  He has both a Bachelors and Masters of Mechanical Engineering completed in 2003 and also obtained a MBA in 2010.    He has a strong design foundation in CATIA v5, is proficient in ANSYS and ABAQUS and has “on the floor” experience with hand lay-up and molding fabrication of composites.

Currently located in the Northeast US, he is open to moving to a larger metropolitan area with good schools and plenty to do with the family.  A dynamic environment where he is trusted to make day to day decisions as a lead or manager is the ideal type of culture.  We really like his versatility and commitment to the industry as an active and contributing SAMPE member.  

Lead Design Engineer

This engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from 2006.  He has spent his career at some of the top companies in the Aerospace industry working as a design and project engineer.  His understanding of projects from the design and tooling phase to the planning, manufacturing and production phase allows him great versatility.

He is currently working for an international aerospace manufacturer of composite structures and components.  He has worked on numerous projects for notable OEMs such as GE Aviation and Embraer. He aims to take the next step in his career in an effort to hone his management skills and lead larger teams of engineers.

Living in the upper Midwest, but having worked throughout the United States, he is open to various locations but would prefer the Midwestern and Western regions.  We like this candidate because he brings an enthusiastic attitude coupled with a strong diligence in getting the job done.  With his achievements and awards gained while serving the US military, this candidate has a full list of skills to utilize.

Materials and Process Engineer

This engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering (2005) as well as an MBA from 2014.  His career has been a combination of composite material testing, processing and quality engineering in large-scale manufacturing environments.

He is currently working for an aerospace OEM, managing multiple responsibilities such as supervising the materials test lab (mechanical and chemical testing), collaborating with the FAA on material qualifications, and troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes.  He is looking for a more stable environment where he can utilize his MBA and grow with the company.

Living in the southern Midwest, this candidate is highly flexible, targeting multiple locations throughout the United States.  We like this candidate’s open personality and willingness to be held accountable for his work.  He possesses a great foundation and is holding many of the tools needed to grow in the direction he desires.

Sales Manager

This technical salesman holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Textiles and Polymer Science.  He has utilized this technical knowledge to contribute to successful roles in Product Development and Sales over the course of his career in advanced textiles and technical fabrics.

He is currently working for a global supplier of nonwovens that cater to the composites, building, and industrial markets.  He holds a global responsibility for driving sales growth and penetrating new markets.  He is looking for a company that is more aggressive when it comes to growth opportunities, and a position which would allow him to be more of a leader and present him an opportunity to drive change.

The candidate currently resides in the Southeast and is accustomed to working out of a home office.  We really like how he effectively combines his technical acumen and outgoing personality to bring value to both his company and customers alike. 

Process/Project Engineer

This engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from 2013.  He has been actively creating work instructions and planning production for all new composite products brought into the facility, working closely with both application and product engineers.

The company is a Tier 1 engineered-composite carbon-part supplier to large OEM’s such as Boeing and Airbus.  He is interested in learning new composite processes and working for a company that gives him a more clear growth path.

Currently located in Ohio and growing up in Michigan, he is interested in possible positions at a number of different locations around the US.   Although he has a little less than 2 years of work experience, we really like this engineer because he has demonstrated a “Mid-West” work ethic, an acute ability to stay “hands-on” and has had exposure to a high-pedigree of aerospace companies.  We think he is a pretty rare find.

Materials Engineer

This engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from 2004 and is a licensed EIT.  Working at a custom designer and manufacturer of high-performance pre-pregs, he has gained a wide-variety of experience from laying up composite panels, documenting precise resin mixtures, programming CNC machines, leading a team of technicians, assisting in the hiring process and acting as a customer liaison with his excellent interpersonal skills.  He lives up to the phrase “wears multiple hats”.

Currently located in Utah, he is open to various locations throughout the US. We like him because of his hands-on type of working style and in how he takes pride in his drive to always improve, not to mention his outgoing personality.  He thrives in an environment conducive to both team and company comradery and where creative ideas are always encouraged and heard.  All around, well-rounded.

Aerospace Engineer

This engineer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering, graduating cum laude, from 2006.  He has been a crucial link acting as a liaison between Support Equipment Engineer, MRB activity, Quality Assurance, and Production contracts.  Acting as a lead engineer for a major aerospace program in conjunction with Boeing, he reviews drawings, clarifies maintenance tasks and supports tooling all with a very hands-on approach.

The company is an Original Equipment Manufacturer that utilizes composite and metallic materials to support commercial and military programs.  He greatly enjoys leading projects and would like to manage a team of engineers.

Technical Manager

This engineer has over nearly 15 years of hands-on experience in a variety of composite processes and applications.  A dual Bachelor’s of Science in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, he has been intimately involved in the full product development cycle from design, structural analysis, including structures, stress and FEA, prototyping aerospace components and manufacture of both parts and complete airframes.

His current company is committed to the aerospace industry and he has also worked on commercial and general aircraft, space systems and other advanced development projects throughout his career.  His hands-on experience with complex braiding and weaving techniques of materials, on the floor manufacturing of parts using hand lay-up, inclave and out of autoclave techniques such as RTM, Compression Molding and Bladder Molding make him a unique and extremely attractive addition to an Advanced Product or Process Development Team.

Currently in the New England area, he is open to re-locating to a variety of areas, ideally near mountains and/or water to support his outdoor lifestyle.  We particularly like his polished, professional demeanor and drive to be “best-in-class”.  Excellent all the way around.

This 2011 Materials Engineering graduate brings a stable work history and very solid exposure to a variety of prepreg material processes.  His current company prepregs a variety of laminates using glass, carbon, and other materials as re-inforcement with a thermoset resin matrix.  He has been involved in process improvements, streamlining process reducing both labor and scrap.  He has traveled to Asia to assist in setting up sister facilities and works great with a wide array of cultures and personalities.

Equally comfortable in the lab and on the floor, he has developed testing protocals to ASTM standards for material testing, has strong LEAN capabilities and an extensive knowledge base in manufacturing methods from pultrusion, winding, RTM, hot pressing and, of course, hand lay-up clave cured parts.   His company’s materials are used in many industries including aerospace, construction, wind energy, transportation and the PCB market.

Located in the Mid-West US, he is primarily looking for a move to a company that would allow him to live in a more urban center with a company that gives him an opportunity for a clear progressive track to career development.   We like his humbleness and ability to work really well with a team; great guy that simply loves composites.
